DeBrekht quality and free hand excellence.  Created using a very special wood-based resin material, each piece is hand-poured and will resemble the hand-carved original so closely that even the woodcarver cannot tell the pieces apart.  Each artist  is trained in Russian techniques of decoration and story painting and meticulously hand paints each piece to the exact likeness of the original.  Amazingly, each artists paints free-handed without guidelines. The paint is usually added in three to nine layers, one on top of the other using rich color pigments and palettes that duplicate the ones used in Russian art villiages.  These gifted artists recreate these magnificent scenes and decorations entirely by hand. When you buy these art pieces we recommend studying each piece closely with a magnifying glass to fully appreciate the artistry of each hand painted design.
